My mother acquired this pair of scissors as a wedding gift in 1995. The poetic design for these steel scissors was introduced in 1958 by Antiono Campi. Famous for her unique biomorphic designs, Campi was one of the leading designers of ceramics in Italy during the postwar era. Campi remains one of the major iconoclasts of Italian design and is still a creator of emblematic objects.
